The “Little Farm” is situated on the east exposed slopes of the hills of the Roero, near the border to the flat landscape around Carmagnola. The farm belongs to the community of Ceresole, one of the communities with the lowest population density in the province of Cuneo.

The territory of Ceresole is caracterized through a flat landscape where cereals, forage and vegetables (peppers, asparagus) are cultivated and an area with soft slopes on which delicious strawberries and other wild berries are grown. This area is undisturbed and offers refuge for many wild animals.

Through the whole territory you can find scattered “peschiere”, small pools who collect rainwater and who were- and in some cases still are- used to breed tenches.

Near Ceresole you can find the “peschiera Gallina” in which grows- probably unique in Italy- the Lotus flower. In summer this peschiera can be the destination of a stroll filled with unexpected and suggestive suprises.

Also the animal husbandry produces high quality products. For example the Piedmontese race, whose meat is known to be of excellent quality and taste.

Other products get transformed into salami or cheese (Arneis- sausage, cheese from Bra , Robiola cheese...).

In the territory the abundance of lakes, watercourses and woods provides living space for many wild animals.

It is possible to run into or see wild animals like herons, storks, ducks, boars, badgers, foxes and others.

Around Ceresole there are small villages and suburbs with interesting arcitectural spots, landscapes of considerable beauty and you can find famous enogastronomic destinations. (Le Rocche, the hills of the Roero , vineyards, the Langhe).Interesting castles and dwellings enrich cultural daytrips during your stay (Castle of Racconigi , Palace of Acaja and Fossano).
